Tucson International Airport has more than 7 major rental car companies serving Arizona travelers. Car rental agencies can be found in the Rental Car Facility east of the Terminal, which can be reached via the Link moving sidewalk near Baggage Belt No. 7. The rental car return entrance is just past the rental car building on the Departures Roadway.
The Rental Car Center accommodates all airport rental car companies, their rental counters and vehicles. If you are planning to rent a car at PHX Sky Harbor, be sure to make a reservation. Vehicles are limited for walk-up customers.
The Rental Car Center is located within its own building at 1805 East Sky Harbor Circle South (between 16th Street and 24th Street, south of Buckeye Road). The common Rental Car Shuttle continuously stops (approximately every 5 to 10 minutes) at the curb on baggage claim levels of each terminal.
TIA has four taxi companies available to pick up passengers at a stand on the commercial roadway in front of the baggage claim area.

Four taxi companies are authorized to take walk-up passengers from Tucson International Airport. Under their contracts, rates from the airport are set at $4.50 for the flag drop and $2.25 per mile. There is also a $22.00 per hour charge for wait time. Otherwise, there is no additional charge for baggage or for more than one passenger going to the same destination.

Each additional mile is $2.30. Each hour of a traffic delay is $23. The minimum fare is $15. Each per trip airport surcharge is $1. ADA taxis are available upon request. All major credit cards are accepted.
